Why there is so much fuzz about 'MyChoice'?

Because it is bold? Or because a girl is demanding things for which boys get accused.

Being a advertising student and a digital marketing professional, I feel that the recent Vogue's videos featuring Deepika Padukone 'My Choice' carry no different ideology and concept than other videos which Vogue has done. If we ignore the content but understand the message of the whole video, then it might not proof bad for most of us. This is the 'beauty' yet 'disadvantage' of controversial advertising. Beauty because, no matter why your advertising has gone viral it has got amazing reach. And disadvantage because, with such controversial content people tend to ignore the core message or the brand itself. I can bet most of them who don't like the video don't even know that it is by VOGUE.

Unfortunately, this video has gone viral for criticism. Although criticism helps you improve your mistakes but I don't think so that VOGUE thinks that this is their biggest mistake ever. In fact, they must be thinking otherwise. And they should be see why:

Please note that more than 40k people liked it.

Mostly, boys are offended with this video as it talks about the freedom of choice of a girl and not theirs. WHO TO BLAME?

WATCH this you might get an answer:

And such controversies goes beyond criticism by coming up with spoofs. Spoofs indirectly promotes brand. Here it is:

In fact, my post might get into controversy. Well that's what I want. I want people to read my post.
