Life Lessons of Lord Shiva

| Lord Shiva | The Great Neelkanth | Mahadev | Living God | The Destroyer of Evil |

After reading the entire series of Amish's Shiva Trilogy - 'The Immortals of Meluha', 'The Secret of Nagas' and 'The Oath of Vayupatras' it felt as if I have lived the entire journey of a common man who emerged as 'The Great Neelkanth' and became a living GOD for everyone who followed the path of Dharma, Karma and Lord Ram's laws. Being a worshiper of Lord Shiva, I think I was destined to know his life and struggle and understand the real meaning of HIS existence.

Although, every page taught a lesson but here are some most important ones which I found are core ones:

1. Every evil has a past of good
2. Anger MUST be also be in a controlled manner
3. The consequences of anger has to be bear upon on yourself first, and then others
4. Fight for truth should never be hold back, even it means fighting with your loved ones
5. Every war should be won by abiding the laws laid down
6. Every act in life should be balanced
7. Every act has a reason, so being judgmental about one doesn't justify that one is evil or good
8. Everything in extreme is evil, so every aspect of life must be balanced and controlled in order to maintain it and enjoy the benefits for a prolonged period
9. The greediness of power, money only ends with destruction and leave you with hollowness
10. The age of violence is not immortal. It ends with peace

The list doesn't end here, because lessons from HIS life is endless and countless. Thank you AMISH for bringing me so close to Lord Shiva and that I admire him more than earlier. Now, I know the true meaning of his existence. Now, I know why he has third eye. Now, I know why he is being worshiped by the chants of 'Har Har Mahadev' not because he is GOD but everyone has a GOD within ourselves. Now, I know why he is being called as the 'Destroyer of Evil'.

Feeling blessed!
